Welcome to my website. I am a benthic marine ecologist who has spent ten years living and working in Antarctica. I had a post doc based at The British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge. My research interests are marine biodiversity, physiology and ecology. I am particularly interested in the effect of climate change on benthic marine invertebrates. I also had a post doc at Ulster University working on cross boarder marine protected areas off of the North Irish Coast (MarPAMM www.mpa-management.eu) using non invasive monitoring such as marine imagery and environmental DNA. I am a member of the Changing Arctic Oceans (ChAOS) NERC program looking at the effect of sea ice loss on benthic marine ecosystems in the Arctic (https://www.changing-arctic-ocean.ac.uk/profile/dr-terri-souster/).
