Welcome to my website. I am a benthic marine ecologist who has spent the last ten years living and working in Antarctica. I had a post doc based at The British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge. My research interests are marine biodiversity, physiology and ecology. I am particularly interested in the effect of climate change on benthic marine invertebrates. I have just started a new post doc at The Ulster University working on cross boarder marine protected areas off of the north Irish Coast (MarPAMM www.mpa-management.eu) using non invasive monitoring such as marine imagery and environmental DNA.
